Earliest Warning Sign For Type 2 Diabetes
How often do you wake up feeling fatigued or really tired? This is the most common and strongest sign of type 2 diabetes. Unexplained fatigue ... you know you haven't been out partying all night, or working harder than usual. Actually you have been going to bed earlier than you used to, hoping you would not feel so worn out when you first woke up or that you would make if through the day without feeling weary. There are many other signs, but this is one of the earliest signs that you have high blood sugar levels. It can go on for years; you start to accept that this is the way your life is going to be. You wish it would go away but it just stays and affects so many areas of your life.
You feel fatigued or really tired because glucose cannot enter the cells that depend on insulin to act as the transporter of sugar, therefore sugar stays in your bloodstream. Once you blood sugars rise above 180 mg/dl (10 mmol/l), sugar begins to spill over into your urine and that leads to several of the short-term complications of diabetes.
One or more of the following diabetic symptoms may be present along with high blood sugar levels, when you are first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes:
frequency of passing urine and thirst
unusual tiredness at times when you shouldn't be drowsy or tired
blurred vision or any change in your eyesight
frequent infections that are slow to heal. Women often have recurring vaginal yeast infections or thrush
tingling or numbness in hands and feet
inflamed gums which are caused by high blood sugars affecting the blood vessels in your mouth. The sugar can also be causing teeth cavities
You may also have type 2 diabetes if your health care provider has diagnosed you with:
high cholesterol levels
high blood pressure
anemia
cataracts
Another classic sign is weight gain. This occurs because insulin in your body is not being used properly. High blood insulin levels increases your appetite.
Type 2 diabetes is a progressive condition that starts small and becomes worse over time. In the early stages it can be controlled through a healthy eating plan and exercise. The best way to prevent your pancreas from overworking and breaking down completely, is to check with your health care provider when you have any of the above symptoms. He can order fasting blood sugar levels, and/or an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), which will confirm or rule out type 2 diabetes.
a blood sugar level after fasting for eight hours, if over 140 mg/dl (7.8 mmol/l) on at least two occasions, usually means you have diabetes
you have diabetes when the OGTT result shows a level equal to or more than 200 mg/dl (11.1 mmol/l)
Your health care provider is the one who is responsible for diagnosing and treating your type 2 diabetes. If you have diabetes you must become your own expert, learning to cope with whatever life may throw at you in a satisfactory way. You need to be able to rely on your own knowledge.

What Are the Keys to Beautiful Skin?
So I recommend starting by eliminating all the toxic foods available and also beginning with a body cleanse. This will allow your body to create clean blood that can continue to supply necessary nutrients to each cell that leads its way to your skin. This is a great beginning. Choose a cleanse that you can tolerate;there are some that are more intense and are hard to swallow.
Pick a regimen that you know you can follow and stick to. Many of them demand drinking a beverage for 3-7 days consecutively. This allows your body to clean the blood that travels through your body of toxins as well as purging those toxins that are leeching to your internal organs. Do yourself a cleanse, and your Liver, Kidneys, Adrenals, Thyroid, Large and Small Intestines will all thank you.
Also note, that cleansing regularly (monthly or quarterly) will keep your immune system stronger, as you have just effectively changed your own( HVAC) filter, so that you can operate at the highest level of efficiency.
You should be aware that your Liver and Kidneys are both filters that are overly stressed due to the on-going import of toxins to our bodies. Once you improve your diet, and keep toxins out of your system, then your body and your skin will reap the rewards. Your Adrenals are glands that make many hormones, including: DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. A slight shift in your hormones can bring on side effects, so it is vital that you keep your Adrenals healthy.
Another concern is your Thyroid which works with the Adrenals to create energy. If your Thyroid is not healthy, your skin can become dry, flaky and weak looking. A healthy Thyroid keeps your metabolism operating to create energy. People with weak Thyroids often battle with weight problems and have low energy issues. So, again, note how directly these key organs are to your overall health.Lastly, your Intestines help with elimination, and if there are not operating, then toxins can sit in your body and create challenges for your body in its operations.
For clear, healthy looking skin, you need a system that allows for daily elimination.
Stay away from drugs, alcohol, chemicals and heavy metals such as mercury and lead,as they can damage the healthy function of your Liver and Kidneys. Trans-fatty acids, refined sugar and salt, and pasteurized diary products, as they challenge your Kidneys. Along with the things to stay away from are some key nutrients to add to your diet, and they include all the green vegetables, like: kale, spinach, dandelion greens, broccoli, green beans, peas, and brussel sprouts.
If vegetables are more challenging for you, then you can try a supplement that includes all of the above, green super-food. Even green tea is great as a natural anti-oxidant and will help your overall wellness program as well as your skin.
So, begin with the end in mind, or remember that whatever choices you are making about what you put in your body will effect how you look. Feed and nourish your body with the respect that it deserves, and you will not be disappointed.
Now you are ready to think about what you put on your skin. But, the preparation work, just like in painting, is the most important part. As long as you strip, sand, and prepare the surface, the finish coat is easy. With your skin care, the results of your efforts of using a skin care system will be much greater, when the first step is complete.

Safeguarding Oral Hygiene
At minimum, you should brush twice daily. Soft or medium bristles are the most affective. Bearing down hard on your teeth will likely result in damaged gums, causing them to recede over time and make infections more likely. Although power toothbrushes are thorough, manual toothbrushes are just as efficient is used properly.
After applying fluoride toothpaste, gently brush in short, circular motions. Make sure you are not neglecting the gum line while brushing your teeth. Brush each and every tooth with care. The brush should be replaced with a new one when the bristles begin to fan out. With most toothbrushes, this is approximately every six months.
Even brushing thoroughly will not remove every trace of tartar or food from our mouths. Dental floss is absolutely necessary to clean in between teeth and below the gum line. The most efficient method of flossing simply involves winding several inches of floss around each index finger.
Applying gentle pressure, press the dental floss between your teeth and rub it around each individual tooth, making sure to reach behind the gum line. Be mindful of the back teeth as well.
Although mouthwash is optional, you may wish to add it to your oral hygiene routine. Those suffering from gingivitis may benefit from a specially formulated mouthwash, such as Corsodyl. Medicated mouthwashes may cause tooth discoloration over time, for this reason they should only be used briefly.
Children will benefit greatly from good oral hygiene and should be encouraged to follow a good regimen. Parents may wish to clean their infant's first teeth with a finger or muslin cloth. Since higher concentrations of fluoride may be detrimental to young children, toothpaste formulated for infants should be used in place of regular toothpaste. Although flossing is not a necessity for children, they should be encouraged to floss once the majority of their adult teeth come in.
It is vital to visit your family dentist twice annually. A dental professional may spot a problem that has not yet come to the attention of the patient, helping treat any issues before they become serious.

Natural Teeth Whitening - Treat Your Teeth With Natural Products
It is important to note that you must know about the duration of application of different products so that you get best results. This is also essential to take care of so that there are no side effects and you do not harm your teeth or gum during the process of teeth whitening.
Baking soda, a cleansing agent and deodorizer as it is popularly known as, when mixed with regular toothpaste has a good effect on whitening your teeth. Although if you just brush your teeth with baking soda, it will help you get rid of stains but not make your teeth white, as you want them to. However it is not recommended to use it daily as it can damage your enamel on prolong use.
Another very easy to get and use product is lemon juice, which is also equally effective. Lemon juice has natural bleaching properties and helps whiten teeth on application. You can even rub the peal of lemon on the stained teeth and results will be seen in few days or so. The only thing is that some people have sensitive teeth when they come in direct contact with lemon or its juice.
Also regular use of lemon juice may weaken the enamel too. In fact lemon juice softens the enamel and depletes the calcium that is vital for maintaining its strength and that of the underlying teeth also. Many dentists forbid using lemon juice because it may cause tooth decay also.
Some people believe that wood ash is also an effective natural teeth whitening product. Much before people started using toothpaste, wood ash was used as a teeth cleansing agent. It has bleaching properties and is quite effective and an age old proven method. Apart from so many natural remedies one thing is for sure that keeping your teeth clean is the key formula behind all of them.
If the stains are caused due to consuming excess of coffee, soda, red wine, alcohol or excessive smoking, one can get rid of these bad habits. Now this will ultimately benefit their health and gradually with proper care the teeth will also get stainless and whiter as before.
